We made spiritual consultation over Akinlade candidacy- Ogun community leader

A community leader in Ogun Waterside local government area of Ogun State, Olatubosun Okeibi has claimed that men of God in the area had made spiritual consultations where it was revealed that the candidate of Allied Peoples Movement, Akinlade would be the next governor of Ogun state.

The community leader revealed that the community would vote for the APM candidate.

Okeibi said this while welcoming Akinlade’s campaign team on a ward – ward campaign between Monday and Tuesday to the riverine community.

Okeibi appealed to Akinlade to construct roads in the community so as to link them with Lagos and other towns.

He assured Akinlade of massive votes come March 2, 2019, saying, “I promise you that we all will vote for you massively, we don’t deceive people here. We won’t disappoint you.

“Our men of God have enquired from God about you and they confirmed you are the next governor of Ogun State. They said you will be a governor that listens to the masses.

“When you get there, please don’t forget our roads. Do more than Amosun and make life more meaningful to our people here.”

While Akinlade said Ogun Waterside, to him, was just like Akere, Tongeji or Tafa areas of his hometown in Ipokia local government which are also riverine area.

He assured them of positive turn around when voted in power, saying “I can’t neglect my people.”

Akinlade and his team had stormed the local government which hosts many tribes including Ijebus, Ilaje, Urobos, Ikales, Ijaw and others, amidst funfair and grandeur.

The local government turned a Mecca of sort as indigenes and residents turned out in their thousands to receive Akinlade and his campaign team.

From one ward to another, Akinlade voyaged round the area promising not to neglect the area but to build on achievements of the current administration in the State.

Traditional rulers at various wards also pledged their unalloyed support and commitment to the aspirations of Akinlade and all other APM candidates in the area.

In his own submission, the Ogun State House of Assembly candidate in Ogun Waterside, Adeniyi Foye, appealed to the people to vote for the APM in the 2019 general elections.

Foye maintained that Akinlade and he would work tirelessly to transform Ogun Waterside and Ogun State in general, when elected.
