Lifeless body of a missing teen was on Tuesday found beheaded at Anyigba, in Dekina Local government Area of Kogi State.
People, who thronged to have a look at the beheaded body of the teenager, condemned the cases of rituals in Anyigba, saying that ritual killings have been on the rise in recent times.
A vigilante member who spoke to newsmen under anonymity explained that cases of rituals have been a recurrent decimal during elections in Kogi.
“The girl has been missing for days and we tried our best looking for her, but this morning her beheaded body was dumped.
“The security situation in Anyigba this time has been quite challenging, because the issue of cultists from the Kogi State University has been overwhelming too.
“Sometime last year, a mother was denied the opportunity to see a child she carried in her womb for nine months because the child was stolen immediately after delivery and has not been seen till date,” he lamented.
