Former Vice President, Atiku Abubarka and the Governor-elect of Oyo state Seyi Makinde on Thursday took turns of secret meetings with the former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The meetings which were held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library(OOPL) was held separately within the space of three hours.
Atiku who has just lost the Presidential election to President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Obasanjo’s residence around 1:00 pm and spent about one hour with his former boss behind closed doors.
A source told PLATFORM TIMES that Obasanjo wasn’t at home when Atiku arrived but was at a function within the premises of the OOPL.
Barely three hours later, the governor-elect of OYO state also arrived the same residence at OOPL and as well held a secret meeting which as well lasted for an undisclosed number of hours
When PLATFORM TIMES was hinted about the visit, our reporter rushed to the residence of the former President but found none of them.
On getting to the venue, the media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi to the former President confirmed that the duo visited Obasanjo but never hinted about the content of their discussions.
