Mental Health Specialist offers free test for "leprotic" El-Rufai, others.

The Chairman, Nigerian Medical Association, Ogun state branch, Dr. Olajide Abayomi has reacted to a recent outburst by Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, that Nigerian Doctors are irresponsible.


Dr. Olajide, a Neuro psychiatrist, at the Federal Psychiatrist Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta passed opprobrious remarks on the governor for what he termed "display of stupidity"

It would be recalled that Governor El-Rufai on Thursday took a swipe on medical practiners in Nigeria for their incessant strike actions when aggrieved or displeased by government.

El-Rufai who spoke in Abuja at a ‘Governance Matters’ roundtable organised by Development Alternative Incorporation (DAI) said  it was only in Nigeria that doctors abandon their duty posts and embark on strike for whatever reason.

However, Dr. Olajide who reacted on Platform Times What's App loop, denounced the governor's remark, saying his likes should be eliminated from Politics.


Olajide who described El-Rufai as "leprotic element" wished that he is allowed to offer free mental health treatment.

His words, "The hope for this country is bleak and every blessed day we see our politicians display highest level of ignorance, paroxysms of stupidity and arrogance display of  madness.

"It is the responsibility of the elite and politically conscious individuals to use every instrument at their disposal to eliminate these leprotic elements completely from our system.

"I am a mental health specialists I offer to treat some of these ignoramus elements  like El-Rufai free of charge.
