2019: Ogun APC leaders drum support for Ogun 'whizkid', Kuyebi


Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC across the senatorial districts in Ogun State have thrown their weight behind gubernatorial aspirant, Temitope Kuyebi ahead of the 2019 elections in the State. 

Notable leaders of the party assured Kuyebi of their support if he is adopted as the flagbearer of the party in the next election. They made this known during Kuyebi's tour to the three senatorial districts of the State. 

The Ogun East APC leaders who received Kuyebi include APC Ogun East senatorial Chairman, Alhaji Bayo Yakub; APC State Secretary, Hon. Ogunde; CAC Chairman Ijebu East, Hon Tunde Oladunjoye; women and youth leaders and other party leaders. 

Those who received Kuyebi in Ogun Central include; senatorial Chairman Engr. Yomi Ademefun, Alhaji Abidoye, Senator Gbenga Obadara, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Afolabi Afuape, commissioner for Cooperative and community development, Gbenga Adenmosun, Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboye to mention but a few.

In Ogun West, Engr. Kuyebi was received by: Senatorial Chairman Alh Yaqub Ajayi, House of Representatives aspirant, Alh Rotimi Ramon, Ogun west Senatorial aspirant, Hon Bolanle Gbeleyi and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Jide Ojuko among others.

Receiving him in Sagamu, Ajayi saluted Kuyebi's spirits and his passion for party supremacy. He also stated that Kuyebi is within the age bracket of those Amosun is looking at to be the 'whizkid'. 

Also speaking in Sagamu, Hon Tunde Oladunjoye sought to know what Kuyebi's response would be if the party's decision were at variance with his ambition. 

In his response, Engr. Kuyebi reassured him that he didn't leave the party in time past, even when the party experienced hard times.

"I joined politics from Alliance for Democracy, AD to Action Congress AC, Action Congress of Nigeria ACN and now to the current APC. 

"Having contested in 2011 and 2015 respectively but did not get the party ticket, I didn't leave the party then, I will not leave the party now and I am confident that my time has come," Kuyebi said.

Kuyebi who is an engineer in the oil and gas industry promised to continue with the good work of the current government led by Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
