The 2003 set of Oke Ado High School, Ibadan, reunited in style on Saturday at the Anchor Mall relaxation center, Akala Express, Ibadan, to celebrate 21 years since graduating.
The event, which was filled with nostalgia, reflection, and camaraderie, saw members reminisce about their secondary school days, while also addressing the state of their alma mater located on Joyce B Road, Oke Ado.
The high point of the reunion was the election of new executives for the alumni association. Hon. Itunu Temitayo Abioro, the immediate past chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, emerged as the new president.
He succeeded Dr. Sunday Adegbite, who handed over the leadership mantle after serving with distinction.
Dr. Adegbite was recently honored in December 2024 as the “Overall Best Senior Registrar in Surgery” at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
The reunion was steered by the reunion committee chairman, Mr. Olatimi E. Abiodun, a real estate consultant and member of the Progressive Forum, alongside Pastor Femi Omotosho, CEO of Eko Autos and Transport Services, who chaired the electoral committee.
Other notable attendees included Ms. Sade Adesina, Ms. Tope Ojeyemi, Alfa Saheed Salami, and Ms. Bimpe Maitanmi, who joined from the United Kingdom, highlighting the global presence of the alumni.

The alumni pledged to continue supporting their alma mater and fostering unity among members, with plans to engage in developmental initiatives for the school and the broader community.
