A Kano Shari’a Court No.1 sitting in Kofar Kudu has ordered the remand of two young men for allegedly terrorising people in Ja’en of Gwale LGA.
The suspects, Usman Rabi’u Usman and Aliyu Rabi’u Usman allegedly engaged in acts that disturbed peace in the area, by restricting movement of people in the area, attacking unsuspecting public and threatening to attack members of the Vigilante Group.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit crime and disturbance of peace, to which they pleaded not guilty.
Prosecuting counsel, Barr. Aliya Aminu ‘Yargaya asked the court to give them date for witness testimony.

The defence counsel prayed the court to grant them bail but Khadi Shamsuddeen Ado Abdullahi Unguwar Gini turned down the request and ordered their remand till May 22 for hearing.
