The Independent National Electoral Commission may reverse the list of National Assembly Candidates published on Thursday based on the subsisting court orders obtained by the National Assembly Candidates who took part in the primaries conducted by the National Working Committee of PDP.
According to an insider in INEC who claims anonymity said INEC is considering the fresh court orders submitted to it by the candidates in Ogun State.
These actions came following a letter written by INEC to the National body of PDP on 30th October 2018, in which INEC claimed it will not accept list presented by the PDP National working Committee because of the orders presented by the Bayo Dayo led faction of PDP that claims to authenticate the Bayo Dayo led exco and an order by justice Abubakar of the Federal High Court Abeokuta, restricting INEC to only collect list submitted by the Bayo Dayo led group
However the national body of PDP got an unanimous judgment of an appeal court sitting in Ibadan with justice Bada as the presiding judge in which the ruling of the appellate court nullifies the order of the federal high court Abeokuta by Justice Abubakar,
INEC is now said to be ready to reverse the names of candidates published upon due consideration of the Appeal court judgement and the Federal Capital Territory orders compelling INEC to accept the list of candidates as presented by the National body of PDP.
