The Ogun state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has vowed to disgrace the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba if he comes to protest in the state.
The governor who spoke on a radio programme at Faaji 106.5 FM warned labour leaders to stop playing politics with the life of people.
Amosun maintained that Ogun state is not owning civil servants any outstanding salaries adding that the state is one of the highest paid states when it comes to workers salaries.
He also stressed that the workers’ salaries have always been paid as at when due.
He said, “Tell Wabba not to come here, so that he will not be disgraced. He should stay in his state. Don’t come and play politics with the future of the state, go to your state.
“We are the highest paid state, we pay workers as at when due and we are not owing the civil servants”.
