The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state and his counterpart in Imo state, Rochas Okorocha over alleged anti-party activities.
The NWC also recommended their expulsion from APC to the national executive committee (NEC).
The decision was taken at the NWC meeting on Friday afternoon in Abuja where allegations of “anti-party activities” were levelled against both governors.
Amosun and Okorocha were both elected senators on the platform of APC in last Saturday’s Presidential and national assembly elections.
however, the duo are backing candidates of another party ahead of the governorship and house of assembly elections scheduled for March 9.
