Following the suspension of the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the All Progressives Congress in Ogun state has expressed consonance with its national secretariat over the decision.

The party expressed joy over the travail of the governor in a telephone interview where the party’s Publicity Secretary of the Caretaker committee in the state, Mr Tunde Oladunjoye described the governor as an ingrate.

Oladunjoye, however, called on the party to expedite action on the expulsion move against the governor.

He said, “The APC in Ogun state receives wholeheartedly the decision of NWC to suspend governor Amosun.

“We see the NWC decision as long overdue as governor Amosun’s action represents a huge and unbelievable demonstration of ingratitude to a party that has helped his political fortune in spite of his disloyalty.

“We are also calling on the NEC of the party to  go ahead and expel  him from the party to teach him  a lesson and  serve as a deterrent to other people  who may want to follow his inglorious path.” He added

All effort made to get reactions from any of the governor’s media aides was proved abortive.
