JUST IN: NLC president arrives Ogun ahead planned protest

The National President of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba has arrived Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital ahead of the union’s planned protest scheduled for tomorrow.  

Wabba who spoke to journalists at the NLC secretariat in Leme, Abeokuta said the Union is ready for the protest despite the threat from the state government.

“We are here today and we are not afraid because injury to one is an injury to all, nobody had the monopoly of threat to anyone.

“The government has communicated to us, for a meeting by 4.pm today. If the government is ready for our demand, we are also ready for dialogue”. He said.
