EFCC arrests APM Candidate for votes buying in Ogun

Operatives of the Economic Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC) has arrested a candidate of house of assembly in Ogun State under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Johnson Sotayo for allegedly luring electorate with money.

Sotayo who is contesting for Abeokuta south state constituency 2, was arrested at Ijaye Ward 7 Abeokuta South Local Government with thousands of naira allegedly planned to dole out to the electorate who vote for his party.

The commission alongside the Nigerian army paraded Abeokuta metropolis to arrest vote buyers in the state.

Meanwhile, the APM candidate has been whisked away and taken to the operatives office.
