We stand by our story – PLATFORMTIMES

Our attention has been drawn to a reaction by one Hon Kunle Adeyemi on our story titled ” Crisis looms in APC as Osoba, Yayi, Abiodun set to clash -INVESTIGATION”.

We would not have responded to the reaction by the writer, but because we know that everyone is entitled to a right of reply and leaving same might mislead innocent and unsuspecting public. However, an attempt to blackmail our medium and calling the writer unprintable names is condemned with deep consternation.

We deserve the right to protect our source while informing the public no matter whose axe is gored.

To put the record straight, PLATFORMTIMES did not publish a sponsored story and hereby challenges anyone with such evidence to publicly publish it .

We are professionals and we STAND BY OUR STORY and indeed our reporter.

The threats made on the response are quite laughable and is indeed an expected characteristic of some Nigerian politicians to investigative reports.

We do not expect the powers that be to ‘smile and hug’ watchdog reporters as we expose what they are trying to hide.

The story did not malign anyone but simply stated the revelations of our source.

We hold our referred father, former Governor of Ogun state, Chief Olusegun Osoba in high esteemed and we will never drag him or his name to the mud.

This does not stop us from doing our job too.

To our esteemed readers, we pledge to ensure we serve you fresh and more exclusive, but, truthful stories. Look out for more.
