Gateway Utd, Enyimba eliminated from Aiteo Cup

The Ogun state based football club, Gateway United has crashed out of 2019 Aiteo Cup after 2-0 defeat to Abia Warriors in Round of 32.

Newly Nigeria Professional football league champion, NPFL Enyimba crashed out of the Cup after lagos Aiteo cup champion smart City 3-2.

A goal in each half for Abia Warriors knocked Gateway United out of 2019 Aiteo Cup in the round of 32 at Warri City Stadium, Delta State.

Rivers United battered Akwa United 3-0, EFCC pipped Sunshine Stars 1-0 and Nasarawa United were outscored by local rivals Aklosendi International FC.

Lobi Stars avenged their loss in the NPFL championship when they stopped Rangers 2-0, while Katsina United were outclassed 2-0 by Shooting Stars with midfielder Fatai Gbadamosi scoring the opening goal and catching the eye with his overall performance.

EFCC pipped Sunshine Stars 1-0 and Nasarawa United were outscored by local rivals Aklosendi International FC.
