The Ogun governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party in the last general election, and chairman of Paseda Legacy Foundation, Prince Rotimi Paseda on Friday buries father, Pa Solomon Paseda in grand style.
The burial which took place Euphoria events centre in Ikeja, Lagos state had in attendance, the governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun, and his Chief of Staff to the Governor, Shuaib Salisu, Senator Buruji Kashamu, and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
Late Pa. Solomon Olaitan Paseda who was born on October 11,1929 gave up the ghost on 18th July this year at the age of 89 at his Lagos residence.
The late Paseda was a retired store keeper at PZ company and a devoted Christian.
The glamorous event also had in attendance the Emir of Bichi in Kano Emirates, His Highness, Aminu Ado Bayero; former commissioner for commerce and industry, Bimbo Ashiru, Senator Anthony Adefuye, Olugbon of Lagos, Hon. Jelil Kayode Amusan, Former Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni-Gomez, Yemi Sodimu, Otunba Wale Osinubi, Emir Ado Bayero representatives, Hajia Tafawa Balewa, former Commissioner, Commerce and Industry in Ogun State, Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Government House, Hon. Babatunde Olaotan, former Ogun State UPN chairman, Hon. Funmilayo Irede Oginni and her husband, cross section of SDP stalwarts in the state.
Notable royal fathers and Heads of Hausa communities in Ogun and Lagos States were also in attendance including Lagos Big girls.
Speaking at the reception, Abiodun described the late Solomon Paseda, father of the had lived an impactful life when he was alive as storekeeper.
The governor said, the late village man in Omu touched many lives through his counseling and words of God on the pulpit.
He added that the late Paseda was an exemplary community leader and worthy to be emulated
