A group of Concerned Ogun State Youths on Thursday advised members of the motorcycles riders association of Nigeria (AMORAN) to elect capable hands to drive the association to the greater height.
PLATFORM TIMES reports that the group which was led by Ambassador Seriki Ibrahim passed a vote of confidence on the Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, a leading aspirant to the office of Chairman of the AMORAN, Ogun state chapter, insisting that the state Youths and students are 80% patronage of the okada riders under the AMORAN.
The group said this while speaking with newsmen at the NUJ Secretariat, Iwe-Irohin, Abeokuta, area of Ogun State.
He added, ” It is on this note that we pass vote of confidence on a strong member of AMORAN in person of Otunba Nurudeen Aina. It is undoubtedly visible to the blind and audible to deaf that students and youths form the 80 percent of patronage of AMORAN.
“It is on this note that we throw our weight behind Otunba Nurudeen Aina and also call on other stakeholders to see the youthfulness in him for sustainability”.
The group equally expressed confidence in the Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration.
The group disclosed that, the social empowerment programme, “Oko Owo Dapo” with soft loans, is a strive to make living convenience for all women and market women of the state.
The leader of the group, Seriki also hailed the job portal platform for unemployed and skilled youths of the state, saying the move has been helping many of the state youths to secure employment.
He said “All these programmes and many more is symbolic symbolism which symbolises the commitment of his excellency to touch all the nooks and crannies of the state with developmental project”.
