The official business card of the Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun has brought confusion especially among the elites in the state as the card currently shows his private resident in Iperu area of Ogun east senatorial district as his official Office.
PLATFORM TIMES reports that the Governor’s office is generally known to be situated at Oke Mosan in Abeokuta, the state capital.
However, one of the business cards which was obtained by PLATFORM TIMES reporter on Saturday shows Abiodun’s hometown, Iperu-Remo in Ikenne Local Government area as his office.
PLATFORM TIMES learnt that this development had been generating arguments as some people are currently saying the Governor might be considering relocating official duties of governance to his resident in Iperu.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the business card which was reportedly given out to guests by Abiodun himself recently, indicated ‘The Villa Emmanuel, Old Ibadan Road, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State’ as the ‘Office of the Executive Governor’.
On one side of the card the symbol of Ogun State, under which the name of the Governor was printed while on the other side, the address of the Governor’s office, his email address, social media handles, phone number and his website address were printed.
PLATFORM TIMES also reports that since his inauguration on May 29, Gov Abiodun is yet to move into the Government House as he reportedly travels to Abeokuta from Iperu on daily basis.
Meanwhile, all efforts by PLATFORM TIMES to get response of the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Kunle Somorin proved abortive as he refused to pick his calls and did not reply message sent to him.
