Buhari congratulates Amosun at 62, acknowledges dedication to public service, nations building

The President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, has felicitated with the former Governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun on his 62nd birthday celebration.

The President in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on media, Femi Adesina, acknowledged Amosun’s ‘legion’ of achievements in various fields of human endeavours.

Buhari also lauded the former Governor’s contributions to nation building, both at state and federal levels.

The President however prayed that the ‘Almighty Allah grants Amosun long life and good health to continue in the service to the nation and humanity.

His words, ” President Muhammadu Buhari, on behalf of himself and the Federal Government, felicitates most sincerely, with the immediate past Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.

“In a congratulatory letter to the Distinguished Senator, the President rejoices with him “for legions of achievements and successes in various fields of human endeavours.”

“According to President Buhari, the former governor’s “dedication to public service and contributions to nation-building, both at state and federal levels are highly commendable.”

“The President joins Senator Amosun’s family, friends and other wells wishers to celebrate with him on this joyous occasion.

“He prays that Almighty Allah grants the celebrant long life and good health to continue in the service of the nation and humanity”.
