The elder statesman called on youths to imitate the political ideology of Abatan.

Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Semiu Sodipo described Abatan as a political mobiliser who believed in the supremacy of the party.

Sodipo argued that , Adatan’s intention before his death was to see youths rule Nigeria.

“All of us here, we are his products. He was selfless and very rare person to come about. He was a partyman, party organiser who believed the party must take the right place. If we must imbibe his political ideals, that is the way to go,” Sodipo said.
