Tears, sorrows as freelance Broadcasters bury colleague, Dare Best

The Freelance Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, FIBAN has lost one of its members,
Dare Best Alabi who is popularly called Mr White lion, Opalapatira.

PLATFORM TIMES reports that Dare best died on Monday 18th of May and was buried two days after.

PLATFORM TIMES further reports that the ace broadcaster was buried at the Anglican Church cemetery along Kobape road, Abeokuta.

PLATFORM TIMES also learnt that Mr White lion started complaining of dizziness and fatigue after his last show on Friday, 15th of May.

PLATFORM TIMES also reports that until his death he was the presenter of Wazobia show on MITV, Lagos State.

He was also a presenter of OJU ABE on every Mondays at Faaji FM.

Meanwhile, few friends and colleagues were on hand to pay him the last respect, while they observed the social distance rule.

In attendance at the burial were the National President of FIBAN, Desmond Nwachukwu, the Ogun state chairman of FIBAN, Olufemi Omilani, while Lagos State chairman of the association was represented by Chief Abiodun Adeoye Afefe Oro.

Others at the burial are also Akinyemi Olatoye, a former chairman of FIBAN in Ogun state, Adewale Dada, Rasheed Ojelabi, Ajoke Amodedun, and a host of others.

Reverend Tolulope Taiwo also known as Pastor T was the officiating pastor at the burial, while the family of the deceased was well represented at the burial including his first daughter and wife.

Dare Best was survived by an aged mum and he died at the age of 47.

Since his demise on Monday, many entertainers have been posting series of tribute on social media about him.

Some of the entertainers include the Managing Director of Radio Services Daar communications, Ambrose Olutayo Somide, a veteran broadcaster, High chief Abbey Fagboro, Olayemi Ajide Olayinka.

Also an actress, Jaiye Kuti could not hold her emotion on IG as she cried uncontrollably.

Members of his Alma mata, Govt College Ibadan, GCI were also ably represented at the burial and supported the burial in all aspects.
