Abiodun orders completion of abandoned road projects

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has directed contractors to commence the construction of some abandoned roads in the state.

The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Ade Akinsanya disclosed this during the inspection of the Asphalt laying of Kuto Flyover, Mokola Bridge, along Ajitadun-Adatan Road and Panseke-Adigbe Road, among others.

Akinsanya noted that the administration of Governor Abiodun would complete all ongoing projects in the state.

The commissioner claimed that the, state government had released funds to execute the abandoned projects.

He said “Let me categorically point out that the Prince Dapo Abiodun administration has released funds to ensure speedy conclusion of all abandon projects by the previous administration. It is alarming that most of these projects have been awarded since 2012 and 2013”.
