REJOINDER ON A SOCIAL MEDIA MESSAGE BY A GROUP CALLED “EGBA YOUTH ASSEMBLY” TITLED PROBE GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN ROAD CONTRACT

Estimated reading time: 3 minute(s)

This is to bring to attention of the Honourable speaker and members of Ogun state House of Assembly (OGHA) and the general public that; my attention has been drawn to a message circulating social media on the above subject matter, addressed to the Ogun state House of Assembly (OGHA) issued in Abeokuta on Thursday 18th June 2020 by a group named Egba Youth Assembly (EYA), e-signed by the group president General “SOLA AFUWAPE”

I wish to state emphatically that I, AFUAPE M. OLUSOLA do not belong to any group named Egba Youth Assembly, neither am I their president. The names may sound similar, but not the same.

Consequently, I am using this medium to state categorically that I don’t have any connection whatsoever with the said group, hence I am innocent and also disassociating myself from the said message.

In my own opinion, I wish to say that it will be too early for anybody to start criticizing Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration in Ogun state, especially in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.

Signed
AFUAPE M. OLUSOLA
Disclaimant
