A Seasoned broadcaster , Victor Eniola-Mark has dumped Splash 106.7 FM in Abeokuta, Ogun state, where he until now served as the Head of Station, PLATFORM TIMES has learnt.
It was gathered that the popular broadcaster who made the station a household name on the basis of a contract between West midland Communications and his company, ‘Coded media and Allied concept Limited’ finally moved out of the station after his programme on Saturday.
Mark, who had yet to communicate his further plans, confirmed his movement from the new station in a phone conversation with PLATFORM TIMES reporter noting that his movement was in public interest and for a greater good.
PLATFORM TIMES further gathered that two other major management members, Emmanuel Oke who until his resignation served as Head of English Programmes and Josphine Amadi popularky known as ‘Ameerah’ (Head of Yoruba Programmes, have also left the station.
Preliminary investigation revealed that others leaving the station with Mark include; , Olalekan Shoyinka ( Ayinla Egba), Olaitan Afuape, Oluwabiyi Sowole among others.
It is expected that the owner of the station would take this in bad taste as the personalities involved were pivotal to making the station a Household name in only a matter of months.
Efforts to ascertain the reason for the mass resignation from the new station proved abortive as no one has officially commented on their destination.
