Speaker of Ogun state House of Assembly, Rt.Honourable Olakunle Oluomo has assured members of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria, FIBAN, Ogun state chapter of the house readiness to extend hand of fellowship to the association.
Oluomo made the pledge on Wednesday when the executive members of Ogun FIBAN led by its chairman, Comrade Olufemi Omilani paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Okemosan.
Earlier in his speech, Omilani had intimated the speaker about how his association, FIBAN is being excluded in all government activities and requested that similar courtesies extended to sister organisations like NUJ and RATTAWU be given to FIBAN as well.
Omilani while congratulating the speaker on the achievements recorded so far by the Ogun state House of Assembly in one year under his watch, also encouraged the assembly to sponsor more bills,which will make life easy for the good people of Ogun state, especially on the issue of land grabbers, which is becoming rampant day by day.
Also in the meeting was the Chairman, house committee on information, Hon. Yusuf Temitope Adejojo.
