The Imam of University of Abuja, Prof Taofiq AbdulAzeez has urged President Muhammad to secure Nigerians or resign.
He said this during the Friday KHUTBAH (sermon) at the main campus Mosque of the University.
Prof. AbdulAzeez expressed concern over several crises overwhelming Nigerians as a result of the vicious policies of Government.
He lamented that the country is faced with failed promises and an alleged mortgaging of the future of Nigerians through reckless borrowing without any tangible life-changing or life-enhancing projects.
The professor further lamented worsening insecurity which, according to him, is the main duty of and reason for tolerating any Government in the first place.
He added, “people may tolerate tariff hike and other harsh government misdemeanor but that without Security, there would be no peace, good health and happiness to survive.
He warned that the failure to address insecurity will certainly lead to Anarchy which is gradually being preferred and being imposed through the unfeeling and unsympathetic Government and its body language.
