The Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun will on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020 present the 2021 appropriation bill to the State House of assembly.
This will be the second time that the governor will be appearing to present the appropriation bill before the state assembly after his assumption of office in May, 2019.
This was disclosed in a release signed by the Clerk of the House, Deji Adeyemo on Friday.
The presentation, according to Adeyemo will hold at the Chamber of the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta by 10.00am.
Adeyemo enjoined all invited stakeholders, guests and Government functionaries to be seated in line with COVID-19 protocol by 9.30am prompt.
Recall that last year, Abiodun proposed N449.974 billion 2020 budget tagged ‘Budget to Build Our Future Together’.
The budget had N49.674 billion increment from the N400.3 billion appropriated in 2019.
There was however a 38% reduction from the initial budget as N280bn was later approved by the assembly.
The sum for 2021 appropriation bill will be disclosed on Wednesday.
