The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate in Ogun Central, Chief Olumide Aderinokun has admonished electorates to avoid making regrettable decisions at the polls in the 2023 general elections.
Chief Aderinokun was speaking at the annual anniversary of the Association of Tailors and Fashion Designers in Ogun State on Monday when he recounted his sojourn in the political scene and his drive for Senatorial seat.
“I joined active politics over 13 years ago but my ambition is driven by the challenges we face in this country,” the Owu chief said.
“I’m a successful businessman with several investments but it is not enough for us to sit and watch Nigeria go down in shambles.
“We all know what’s happening across the country, Ogun State most especially. Insecurity, unfavorable business environment, lack of jobs, bad roads and lots more which you are aware of.
“I plead with you, don’t be under pressure to reinforce failure. Don’t make that mistake again because we have endured four years of hardship.
“I am ready to represent you at the National Assembly as your next Senator and I’ll deliver to communities in the six Local Government Areas.”
Chief Aderinokun was accompanied by representative of PDP House of Representatives candidate in Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Chief Toyin Amuzu, House of Assembly candidate in Odeda Local Government Area, Hon. Kehinde Odewunmi, former Commissioner of Co-operative in Ogun State and PDP chieftain, Chief Lekan Tejuoso and party chairmen of the PDP in Abeokuta South and Odeda Local Government Areas.
