The Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria, FIBAN, Ogun state chapter has congratulated the newly appointed General Manager of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, Mrs TOYIN Sogbesan, on her recent appointment by the government of Ogun state.
In a release signed by the General Secretary of the association, Muriziq Oluwatosin reveals that the Chairman, Comrade Olufemi Omilani received the news of Sogbesan’s appointment with gladness because the appointment is well deserved and based on merit.
While also seeking better working condition and future collaborations with OGBC, the association, which serves as body of all Freelance Broadcast Journalists in Nigeria equally pledged the supports and cooperation of its members who are operating in the station.
“The Chairman, Comrade Olufemi Omilani on behalf of OGUN FIBAN wishes to congratulate Mrs Toyin Sogbesan on her recent appointment as General Manager of OGBC. It was a well deserved appointment. All our members operating in the station have also been directed by the chairman to give the new General Manager maximum cooperation, while also tasking the new General Manager to ensure better working condition for FIBAN members”, the statement read in part
