The Ogun state chairman of Tricycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (TORAN) Agunbiade Abduwasi has showered praises on his secretary, Comrade Sopade Mathew
Sopade was born into the family of Late Oludotun Sopade and Madam Mariam Ajoke Sopade of Bariyo’s Compound, Ijemo Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.
Agunbiade described Sopade as an industrialist and a trustworthy politician, ” A rare leader with factual behaviour” he said
Sopade started his political journey in Obafemi Owode LG about 20 years ago after his father handed him over to Rt. Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, the former speaker of the Ogun state House of Assembly, who also hails from the same Local Govt.
According to him, “Sopade is a man of pride. Truly, his late dad handed him to me and since that day, he has been a very loyal person to me, he is so gentle, responsible, reliable and trustworthy.” he said
The head of family, Pastor Oludotun Olufemi also described Sopade as the lamp of his family.
“I am the head of the family, ” Mathew is the one we are looking to in our great family, our prayer for him is to excel in his life ” he said
