The Chairman Splash estate limited owners of Omoluabi estate, Chief Victor Eniola Mark, has narrated how he gave out two of his first three plots of land in magnanimity.
Chief Mark said this while receiving an award as the icon of humanitarian service in Ogun state.
The real estate Czar who is also a media chief was honoured by a community news outfit in Ogun, Tropic Reporters, for his commitment and dedication towards youths development.
The Award presentation which was done at the commerce house in Abeokuta had in attendance eminent personalities from different spheres of life.
Speaking on the essence of the award, the founder of Tropic Reporter, Adejola Adeyemi said the award is to celebrate and honour distinguished individuals like Splash estate CEO who have proven to be worthy Nigerians in their respective fields.
Adeyemi noted that the selection of the awardees was done by a committee who painstakingly researched to ensure worthy personalities are honoured.
While receiving the award, Splash Estate CEO described it as one of the way to appreciate his efforts in giving back to the society.
Mark who dedicated the award to the citizens of Ogun state expressed readiness to support initiatives that will bring development to the nation.
He further said, “I dedicate the award to people that have contributed to my success both in journalism and real estate. I am grateful to everyone
“I dedicate the award to all residents of Ogun state. The reason being that I feel honored to be in the state despite the fact that I was not born here
“We have always appreciated good initiatives. For the good work in them. When I say we, I mean Splash estate limited, we are one of the sponsors of the event.
“But beyond that, it is common knowledge that as a person I feel as a young man who has gotten support from different person and as such, I have also dedicated my life and person to supporting youths in different ways.
“How to justify this is that I do not intend to stop supporting youths. I recall that even when I had just three plots of land in my whole life, I gave out two to youths I have not seen before in my life. Not because I have plenty, but because I am passionate about the youths.”
Other awardees include: Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, Oba Adekunle Oyelude Makama; Regent of Aaye, Ondo State, HRM Taiwo Oyebola Agbona. ; Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye (President of Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture), Asiwaju Dapo Wahab (Chairman of Ifedara Opeji Area CDC), Commander Soji Ganzallo (Ogun State So-Safe Corps Commander), Ven. (Dr.) Samson Kunle Popoola (Ogun State Chairman of Police Community Relations Committee) to mention but few.
