Two time Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, the first Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede amongst others will lead conversation at a dialogue on corruption.
The dialogue is organized by Federal Social Democrats (FSD), a ‘movement working to build a value-driven society by selfless leadership, restoring trust in public service, bringing governance closer to the people and delivering the greatest good to the greatest number of people.’
Tagged ‘FSD Knowledge Series : The Cost of Corruption’, the dialogue will hold the first of the series online on Saturday, 31st of July by 1pm.
Moderating the Panel is a former vice President of World Bank, two time Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, co-founder and founding director of Transparency International, co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, Oby Ezekwesili who is also Chair, FixPolitics.
On the Panelists are First chairman of EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, JAMB registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, co-founder of BudgIT – Oluseun Onigbinde, Economic Analyst – Bismarck Rewane and legal practitioners Funke Adekoya and Prof. Koyin Ajayi
The Panelists will x-ray the corrosive impact of corruption on: the economy and the financial system; justice and the legal system; governance and social services.
The Saturday edition is said to be 1st part of a two part series, the 2nd Part will come up later to explore “New Initiatives to Fight Corruption”.
