The Ogun State Chapter of Association of Nigeria Authors, and Nigeria Union of Pensioners have commiserated with the state governor, Dapo Abiodun over the death of his father, Emmanuel Abiodun.
ANA in a letter jointly signed by its chairman, Engineer Paul Oni and secretary, Deaconess Olori Olubunmi Olatidoye noted that the governor’s father lived a fulfilled exemplary life of good exploits.
The Association added, “with a heavy heart but gratitude to GOD for a fulfilled exemplary life of good exploits, the entire members and Exco of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun State commiserate with Your Exellency and your family for the passing into Glory of your Patriarch, Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun.
“We pray that GOD ALMIGHTY may grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and for greater exploits of goodness to succeed his death and for you to achieve greater feats than you achieved when he was alive.
“We pray in JESUS CHRIST’S MIGHTY NAME, AMEN.
“We Remain Your Obedient Servants”.
Similarly, the Pensioners in a letter of condolence signed by his secretary, Comrade Bola Lawal to the Governor, said the late Abiodun would surely be missed.
The letter reads: ” NUP, Ogun State Council commiserates with Your Excellency on the death of your father, Dr. Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun ( Baba Teacher). Although, Papa died at a rope age , yet no one will be happy about the death of a loved one”.
” He will surely be missed but will forever be remembered,” the letter added.
They prayed that the Almighty God would condole and uphold the entire members of the family.
