It was happy moments for Instagram users on Sunday when a popular gospel Singer, Funmi Ayinke gave out cash to winners of her Talent Hunt Show.
Funmi Ayinke, a multiple award winner is known for her philanthropic gesture of assisting and supporting Nigerians with finances and empowerment.
Her Instagram Talent Hunt show was a weekend programme organised to discovered Nigerians with exceptional talents.
Ayinke who is the owner of Funmi Ayinke Record label during the programme advocated for support for girls child.
The founder of Funmi Ayinke Humanitarian Foundation said her foundation has strong desire to provide support and solutions to the plethora of challenges the girl-child faces.
The Africa’s Best Rated Engineer said there is need to defend the girl-child as well as boost her confidence and self-worth.
She noted, “Lack of confidence is one of the biggest impediments that block the girl-child from excelling in life.
“The Ayinke Humanitarian Foundation is ready to provide support and useful information to help raise confident girls in our communities.”
She explained that her foundation will soon commence series of activities to improve the lot of the girl-child.
Meanwhile, Mrs Godwin Eebule, a woman who Ayinke helped with some amount to established a pre nursery , nursery and primary schools described her as a rare gem.
She commended Ayinke for remembering others, despite the prevailing hardship in the Country.
Also, Phil Ovey who won N190, 000 on her weekend Instagram talent hunt from Kaduna in his testimony said Ayinke is a blessing to him because he started a rice farm with the money.
He prayed that God will continue to bless the donor, urging other well spirited Nigerians to emulate such good gestures of brotherliness.
