The Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun has vowed to deal with the former governor of the state , Senator Ibikunle Amosun and his loyalists if they undermine him and sabotage the peace enjoyed in the state.
Apparently reacting to the violence that broke out on Saturday at the state congress of the All Progressives Congress held by loyalists of Amosun .
The governor maintained that he is going to bring the ‘fullest extent of the law’ on anyone who tries to undermine the security architecture of the state irrespective of position the person is holding.
Abiodun noted that he remains the governor and Chief Security officer of the state .
PLATFORM TIMES reports that there was pandemonium at Ake Palace area of Abeokuta in the state on Saturday when some hoodlums stormed the venue of the congress of Amosun’s loyalists and were reportedly shooting into the air .
Reacting to the shooting, Abiodun stressed that he would not allow any saboteur to jeopardise against the collective will of the people of the state.
He noted, “our peace and security is what continues to earn us investment destination of choice . Any act to breach that would be considered an act to saboteur against the collective will and the desire of the entire people of Ogun state .
“I consider it a sabotage of the common wealth and I will deal with that person decisively ,I will bring upon the person the fullest extent of the law.”
