There was a mild drama at the Ogun state magistrate court on Wednesday when the state Tribunal for the Local Government Election bared journalists from covering the proceeding.
Journalists bared were correspondents of AIT, STV, Plus TV, OGTV crew and PLATFORM TIMES reporter.
The Chairman of the Tribunal, told journalists that recording or covering of the proceeding is not allowed.
He said, “please, all press men that are here, there is no camera recording, audio recording, phone recording. Thank you.”
PLATFORM TIMES recalled that the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu had some months inaugurated the Election Petition Tribunal for the recently concluded Local Government election in the State.

members of two tribunal panels at the State High Court complex, Kobape, Abeokuta to allow opposition parties seek redress over the outcome of the election.
The first panel was chaired by Mr Akintunde Olurotimi Oyeyinka, while Lukman Abdullahi and Mrs Olayinka Kukoyi were members.
Also, in the second panel, Otunba Rotimi Onafadeji was appointed as Chairman while Mr Rabiu Ibrahim and Mrs Adedoyin Alaba would serve as members.
