The Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioners has called for more advocacy and awareness for HIV/AIDS all over the world.
According to them there lies the path to the world’s recovery from the scourge.
The Association made this known in a statement signed by its Ogun Chapter chapter Chairman, Dr Adeleye Kusimo
Kusimo called on governments across the world to provide opportunities for more advocacy and awareness through media, especially radio and television jingles.
He also charged religious bodies, NGOs, CDAs and private and government healthcare institutions to follow suit through medical outreaches to motor parks, markets and other places of high population density for social and economical interactions.
He however called on individuals to put up their best to prevent themselves from being infected with the disease or a further spread by those already infected
