The 36 abducted people in Guga of Bakori LGA, Katsina State have regained their freedom after a month in bandits’ den.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the bandits collected N21 million ransom from the relatives of the victims before they released them.

One of the family members of the victims , Alhaji Mahdi Danbinta Guga whose wife and daughter were among the victims confirmed that their release was after the payment of N21,000,000 ransom.
it was further gathered that the ransom was sourced by the Guga community.
Their release was made on Sunday around 6:00 pm.
