Singer Mr Eazi, has reassured his fans that his next album will be worth the long wait.
Known for pioneering ‘Banku’ music, a sound characterised by percolating rhythms and laid-back vocal delivered in Ghanaian Pidgin English, Mr Eazi explained the project is seemingly being ‘delayed’ because it promises to be special and different.
The Ghana-based performer also noted details of the album will be made public in due time.
The music star in his reassuring post wrote: “I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE WAITING FOR THE ALBUM. KEEP WAITING, IT’S GONNA BE SPECIAL AND DIFFERENT!! AND WHEN IT’S READY, I WILL LET Y’ALL KNOW.”
Born Oluwatosin Ajibade, the 30-year-old released his first body of work, “Life is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra to Lagos”, a 14-tracked album in 2017.
His last body of work, an EP (Extended Play) titled, “Something Else” consisting of 5 tracks was released in 2021.
