A 16-year-old sales boy, Williams Iheche has been docked by Police at the Zone 2 Command, Lagos State for allegedly stealing twenty cartons of phone accessories worth N4 million .

Iheche who worked as a sales boy with one Olaoye Olatunji at the Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos, allegedly stole twenty cartons of phone accessories valued at N4,080,000.
Iheche was caught and charged before a Lagos Magistrate’s Court after he had escaped.
Also arrested and charged with him was the alleged receiver of the stolen goods, Ada Agamba, 40.
Police alleged that the suspect stole the goods and allegedly sold them to Agamba and escaped.
Police further alleged that following the development, the complainant petitioned the AIG in charge of Zone 2 Command, Lagos about the matter.
The AIG upon receiving his complaint directed his men to fish out the suspects wherever they might be hiding.
The Police team, after days of intelligence gathering, tracked the suspects to a hideout and arrested them.
The duo was charged before the Tinubu Magistrate on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing and receiving stolen property.
Police Prosecuting Counsel, Ibrahim Haruna informed the Court in the charged marked A/11/2022 that the defendants committed the offence on 28 January 2022 at Oba Oseni Plaza, Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos
Haruna told the court that the complainant reported that he left his sales boy in his shop on trust and travelled and that before he returned, his sales boy stole his twenty cartons of phone accessories and fled.
He said the offences, the defendants committed were punishable under sections 411, 287 (16) and 328 of the Criminal law of Lagos State.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges and Magistrate B.O Osunsanmi granted them N200,000 bail each with two sureties each in like sum.
Osunsanmi adjourned the case till 1 April 2022 for mention.
He ordered that the defendants be kept at the Ikoyi and Kirikiri Correctional facility till they perfected the bail conditions
