The Internal Revenue Service of Ogun State said it generated a total of N11.804bn as revenue between January and March.
Olugbenga Olaleye, the Chairman, Ogun State Internal Revenue Service disclosed this on Tuesday while defending the first quarter budget performance of the agency before the State House of Assembly.
The Chairman represented by Biodun Adeleye, a board member of the revenue service explained that the revenue was generated from personal and withholding taxes, stamp duty, road taxes and direct assessment.
He noted that the total amount generated by the agency was translated to 83.86 percent of N14.076bn of the budgeted amount for the same period.
