A rising gospel record label, TWC records, has unveiled four new music acts that were recently signed on the label.
The four new music acts are Minister Raqell, The Pillaz (a four-man Acapella group), Sustain music, and Minister Pat Joe.
The four gospel acts signed under TWC records management were unveiled in Lagos during a press conference.
TWC records A&R, Amachree Ikijana, who represented the label’s president, Sly Etuk, opened up on the label’s purpose saying, “The essence of what we do as a brand is to amplify the voice of the artist, package the artist and send their music to their expected audience.”
Ikijana noted that under the management contract, the record label will not be directly involved in sponsoring the project of the artist but would become the image-maker presentation of the artist and also use their platform to promote the artist.
“We have signed four artists after due process of listening to their content and sound, concluded that this is the brand that we want to take to the market because at the end of the day market is not all about money, marketability to me is from the angle of accessibility and acceptability from the audience.
“TWC record is one of the most successful record labels here in Nigeria. With the experience gained from running the record label for years, we decided to use this experience to reach out to artists under management and grow their brand and music.”
