Northern governors elected under the All Prigressives Congress have reported to have endorsed the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan as the party presidential candidate .
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that a meeting was held on Tuesday night few hours after the president ,Muhammadu Buhari met with APC governors on the choice of the party candidate .
A source said the governors reached the resolution after a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
The source said the decision of the meeting has been conveyed to President Buhari for adoption.
But, it was however gathered that a meeting held by APC governors forum ended in deadlock .
PLATFORM TIMES further gathered that the talks on who should fly the party ticket could not successfully ended as there were divergent views .
It was also gathered that an idea to pick a consensus among them hit a brick wall as some other governors insisted that the choice should go to the South .
