The New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, Ogun State has endorsed Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel Fayoyin, as the Ogun State gubernatorial candidate of the party ahead 2023 general election.
This was disclosed in a statement jointly signed by all local coordinators in Ogun state, addressed to the NNPP’s National Chairman in Abuja.
The 20 Local coordinators affirmed and endorsed the nomination of Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel by the state executive council of the party ahead the June 6th gubernatorial primary election of the new Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, Ogun state.
The statement reads in part. “In accordance to the procedure of nomination of candidate for the gubernatorial election in conformity with the provision of section 84(1) of the electoral Act 2022, and in compliance with article 13(9) of NNPP’s constitution, the undersigned further to the provision of the section 84 of the electoral Act on the nomination of candidate for the gubernatorial election to be conducted in a democratic manner.”
It further reads “In our attempt to ensure please, unity and harmony, the ogun NNPP state executive council members hereby today 2nd of June, 2022 nominate and endorse Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel Fayoyin as the candidate of Ogun NNPP for the 2023 gubernatorial election by consensus”.
