After receiving the knock from the national leader and presidential aspirant of the the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu over his endorsement of vice president ,Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun, has declared that delegates from the state would do the right to produce the presidential candidate of the party.
Tinubu had derogatorily referer to Abiodun in his remarks during a visit to the state ahead of the party presidential primary as “this one behind me, Dapo ,wouid he have become Ogun governor if not God and me ?
But, in his remarks after the attacks from Tinubu, Abiodun rather than endorsing the national leader as he did for Osinbajo where he publicly endorsed him and promised to ensure he garners Ogun delegates votes, he just said “our delegates will do the right thing “.
Abiodun gave this declaration while receiving one of the party’s presidential aspirants, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Lodge Abeokuta, as part of his nationwide tour towards the forth coming presidential primary of the party.
The governor noted that Ogun is capable of identifying quality leaders, emphasising that the Ogun APC delegates would do the right thing during the primary election.
He said ” I want to assure you our national leader that Ogun delegates will do the right thing .”
