The Olota of ota, Oba AbdulKabir Obalanlege has cautioned the people Ota against taking law into their hands.
He spoke on Monday at a security meeting which included the head of Police command,Navy,Owode Soldiers and DSS that held in ado-odo ota .
The event was held to review the state of security in the area with a view to providing solutions to the security challenges.
The monarch urged the people to report any matter of urgency to the security agencies and not just engage in jungle justice.
He said whatever might be the issue in our environment should be reported and not hidden.
“I assure you, whatever it is you say here, shall have no consequences. If you are threatened, do not hesitate to inform me.
“Here in our presence, we have the head of Police command, Navy, Soldiers and DSS. These head of forces are people that cannot be easily compromised.
“If you don’t explain your situation, they cannot be of help to you. These wicked souls out there are not populated as we are. They are not spirits.
“For the sake of serenity in our state, we need to speak to be heard.
I plead to you to let us work together for the peace of our society,he added.
