The Lagos State Police has requested for the presence of some staff of the Ogun State College of Health Technology (OSCOTECH), Ilese-Ijebu for questioning in order to ensure fairness and justice in a reported case.
This was made known in an Invitation letter with the letterhead; ‘Assistant Inspector General Of Police, The Nigeria Police’, from Zone 2 Headquarters, 2, Island Club Road, Onikan, Lagos, referenced; AR: 3000/ZN.2/ZMU/TM18/VOL8/251, dated; 23rd August, 2022.
The letter which was directed to the Provost (Ag.), OSCOTECH, Ilese-Ijebu, Ogun State, was to request the release of some staff of the institution to facilitate investigation on a matter which was reported to the AIG of Police.
The invited staff of the institution as contained in the letter are “Mrs. Abimbola Oyefeso (The Registrar), Mrs. Patience Odutayo (Head of Clinic), Mr. Banjoko (CHEW), Mrs. Shade Odutunde, Mrs. Folahan (Lecturer), Miss. Thomas (Nurse), Pharm. Amusat Muheez, Pharm Giwa Shukurat.
The letter reads “this office is investigating a matter reported to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Police Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.
“In order to facilitate our investigation, you are kindly requested to release the above mentioned staffs of your renowned institution to report to SP, Abbas Gadzama, with GSM No. 08036262469, on Tuesday, 30th August, 2022 by 1000hrs.
“Please be Informed that this is merely a fact-finding exercise in the interest of justice and fairness.
“Accept the warm regards of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Command, Please.” He said.
