The former governor of Enugu state, Chimaroke Nnamani, has been removed from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council list.
The list was signed by Iyiola Omisore, national secretary of the party, and released on Wednesday.
Nnamani’s name was previously included in the list but since he is not an APC member, he was withdrawn because he is a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
But Bayo Onanuga Director of information in the campaign, had defended the decision to include the Enugu senator on the list.
Information gathered by PLATFORM TIMES read that Orji Uzor Kalu, the former governor of Abia and current Chief Whip at the senate, and Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior, who were on the previous list, were no longer seen.
