The new Governor of Osun state has changed the name of the state from “State of Osun” to “Osun State” and also reversed its appellation from “The State of the Virtues” to “The State of the Living Spring”.
The new Governor threatened to undo the past actions of the previous Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola including some late appointments and promotions in the civil service.
Recall Oyetola had organized a local government election in the twilight of his tenure.
Others in attendance include; PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and vice presidential candidate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Other governors and public office holders were also present.
