The Labour Party Vice-Presidential Candidate, Yusuf Datti, has knocked a Nigerian author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri, for posting a derogatory statement against the party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi.
According to a tweet posted on Wednesday, November 30, Omokri tweeted that Obi would lose the 2023 election, saying he would ‘fade away into history’s dust bin’.
Comparing Obi to Tinubu, he said the latter is better than the former ‘100 times’, saying the LP presidential candidate does not have a manifesto yet.
He wrote, “Peter Obi will definitely lose the 2023 Election and fade away into history’s dustbin. Even Peter is aware of that by now. It is those in the media, who have allowed themselves to lose their objectivity because of an upstart trader, like Obi, that I feel sorry for!
“Even with the fact that Tinubu is a KNOWN DRUG LORD with signs of cognitive dissonance, he is still 100 times better than Obi. You can imagine that barely 2 months to the election, Obi still does not have a manifesto. I just laugh at those who think he can win!”
Reacting to this, Datti called Reno a ‘he-goat’, as he urged Obidients to block him on Twitter.
He wrote, “Dear Obidients, I understand your anger when Reno Movkery make those derogatory tweets about Peter Obi. Please let’s try and ignore this man, when you reply his tweet, you are only giving him engagement. If possible “BLOCK” this he-goat.
“When they want to trend, they will simply insult Peter Obi. They know how upset we are because they have taken so much from us. Millions of kids are out of school, no jobs, millions have been pushed into poverty. You have the right to be “ANGRY”. Please vote Peter Obi.” He stated.
